 Logopress3 BLANK is a very economical yet accurate solution that allows the user to quickly and easily create the blank of 3D formed parts - also known as double-curved or automotive type parts.
The models to be flattened can start out as Parasolid files orIges or any other format that you can read into SolidWorks. They can be either solids or surface models.
The software helps both at the quotation stage and in the die design process. It will dramatically minimize development time in the press. The mesh is fully automatic but its size can also be adjusted if the user wishes to do so.
There is no need to be a mechanical engineer with finite element analysis skills to handle the software because it is very user friendly.
The Logopress3 BLANK module is included inside the full Logopress3 die design package, but can also be independently purchased if you don't need to design strip layouts and complete dies. While Logopress3 BLANK is geared towards metal stampings of course, they even have customers using Logopress3 BLANK for such odd things as swimming pool liners, etc.
Logopress3F is the package that includes both Logopress3 BLANK capabilities and Logopress3 Unbending capabilities - including multi-stage unbending management.
