Accessibility. Cost effectiveness. Relevance. Engagement. Motivation. Retention.
Global e-Training from TPM provides what today’s learners need.
How did it all start?
As a licensed college and Authorized Autodesk Training Center with 25 years of classroom and computer-based technical training experience, Digital School launched Global e-Training to immediate, widespread acceptance in the world of Computer Aided Design–manufacturing, engineering, architecture, anima tion, visual media, and more. Before we decided to bring our expertise to online training, we researched what was out there.
What we found surprised us.
Traditional e-learning has been focused on one or two delivery methods: maybe text on a screen, or videos, or audio files. Sometimes they might combine one with another, but we couldn’t find anything for highly technical CAD training that really reached out to different learning styles and embraced them all.
People don’t all learn the same way. Some need to read some thing, some need to hear it, some need to see it demonstrated, some need it broken down into steps, some need to do it for themselves. And most people find that while they have a main learning style, the others complement and reinforce the subject.
e-Training revolution
e-Training is a revolutionary form of e-learning: interactive, engaging and comprehensive of all learning styles, including the ability to immediately apply what is being learned. We came up with the term “e-Training” because we didn’t want people to associate what we are doing with what they may have seen before. Global e-Training from TPM is something new, different, and enhanced.
Our ultimate goal is the transfer of knowledge and skills to people so they can fulfill their potential.
Designed to reach everyone
With the flexibility of online programs and the structured, interactivity and hands-on engagement of instructor-led courses, Global e-Training is leading the way.
GeT Interactive is a self-paced, online training system that lets students study on their own schedules. Visual, auditory and hands-on learning methods are integrated seamlessly in an interactive and easy-to-follow format. Competency-based progress and built-in practice problems ensure students stay focused to attain valuable skills and complete the programs.
GeT Interactive courses offer innovative features to support every learning style.
GeT Interactive courses can also be customized to meet the needs of your organization, from branding to a complete custom course.
The Global e-Training system is designed to give everyone a helping hand up the ladder of success. Toward that end, there are two flavors of GeT Online Training–Flexible and Guided.
The Flexible option allows students to move from lesson to lesson in any order they want, and access the content for an entire year. It is a virtual classroom interface in which students can listen, interact, and learn from experienced instructors from anywhere in the world.
The Guided option is the same content as the Flexible, but adds the ability to assess your knowledge as you progress through the course. In addition, it is Autodesk ATC certified, and gives access to an instructor help desk.

e-Learning may only be one slice. e-Training is the whole pie.
e-Text is explained verbally by an instructor to describe the e-Text from a different perspective, ensuring the client acquires a full understanding of software functionalities.
The client can easily follow step-by-step instructions to receive maximum benefits from the software. e-Tips and e-Knowledge are the tips and tricks, best practices and shortcuts added from the instructor’s experience.
e-Demos are clear, concise and detailed video demonstrations on how to perform software functions.
Every aspect of the course requires interactivity with the courseware and software. This increases retention and engagement with the curriculum.
Experienced Autodesk software users are available to assist when questions arise.
Every topic has practical examples embedded. This gives the learner practice with the topic using the software with prepared class files designed to best demonstrate different concepts.
At the midway point in every chapter there is a short quiz to ensure a full understanding of material presented throughout the course. At the end of each chapter there are quizzes which will again test retention of course material and demonstrate competencies.
