Autodesk and TPM are changing the way you prepare your students for a future in design.

These suites are built to help you prepare your students for the transition into a professional career by introducing a multidisciplinary approach to engineering and design education, and tools that support contemporary industry practices, such as building information modeling (BIM), Digital Prototyping, and digital entertainment creation.

The Education Suites are as follows

• Autodesk Education Suite for Architecture and Engineering 2010
• Autodesk Education Suite for Civil and Structural Engineering 2010
• Autodesk Education Suite for Mechanical Engineering 2010 
• Autodesk Education Suite for Industrial Design 2010 
• Autodesk Education Master Suite 2010 (includes all of the products in the other suites)

The suites are supported by nine curricula that promote teaching concepts. Curricula include professionally developed lecture notes, student workbooks, challenging projects and other valuable tools to help instructors teach crucial skills.

Among the new curriculum are:

• Sustainable Design Education Curriculum - a series of lessons that explore the methods and tools to better prepare students for the integrated practice of sustainable design.
• Autodesk Revit Architecture BIM (Building Information Modeling) Curriculum - a series of project-based lesson plans designed to support classroom teaching and promote student understanding of BIM.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D BIM Curriculum - to give students the tools to compete and succeed in civil engineering careers.
• AutoCAD Inventor Curriculum - featuring 3D mechanical design from sketching, modeling and documentation to analysis and visualization.

All curriculum is available at the Student Engineering and Design Community, an online resource for students and educators.

And now, for the first time, education customers can put their Education Suite under Subscription with Autodesk and receive the following benefits:

• Automatic fulfillment when the new release of the Education Suite is ready, no longer do you have to wait until you renew your term license.
• Web Based technical support (TPM education customers also receive Basic Telephone support at no charge, normally a $595.00 value)
• Ability to easily use previous versions
• Access to e-learning via the subscription website
• Access to immediate download of extensions for Autodesk products not available to non-subscription customers

For customers who were current with the Autodesk Design Institute (ADI) term license, Autodesk is automatically migrating them to the Master Education Suite with Subscription.
